In an unprecedented combined SoCal West and SoCal East Contest in Whittier, The Crown City Chorus came in 3rd overall in their division, for the second consecutive year became the Plateau A Championship and was awarded the prestigious Most Improved Chorus award!

PLUS, the chorus qualified to compete at the Far Western District contest in Phoenix, AZ on September 29.

Also, two quartets from the Pasadena Chapter competed...

Enterprise garnered the Novice Quartet Championship, while Impact came in 8th overall in the division.

San Jose, CA

The Crown City Chorus, competing at the District Level for the first time in over 20 years, came in 11th, qualifying as the Plateau A Champion!.

The capacity audience was very receptive to the entire performance and the chorus members were exceedingly proud when the announcement was made from the stage.

The Pasadena Crown City Chorus was featured on Friday, Sept. 15, on Los Angeles station KTLA (Channel 5) in the 7 a.m. hour of the Morning Show with Emmy award-winning reporter Gayle Anderson. The Pasadena chapter is celebrating its 60^th anniversary this year.

The Crown City Chorus, in an exciting contest in Northridge, CA was named the Plateau A Champion and won 3rd place overall, qualifying to compete at the prestigious District Contest in San Jose this October.
