About Us
The Pasadena Crown City Chorus was formed in December of 1946,
making it one of the oldest existing chapters in the Western United States.
The Chorus is comprised of about 45 men, singing four-part barbershop harmony music and performing regularly throughout
Southern California.
Each year, the Crown City Chorus competes nationally in barbershop chorus contests. The Chorus is a member of
The Barbershop Harmony Society, a non-profit organization formed to preserve the uniquely American musical art form of barbershop quartet singing.
The Crown City Chorus is a professional quality singing organization comprised of amateur performers, generally gathering together to rehearse just once per week. We encourage all men with a desire and ability to sing to
join the chorus.
